I have a 2004 LS430 with 25,000 miles on it. When I take car out of garage on a hot day the outside temperature sensor takes forever to rise to actual outside temperature. Often takes more than 15 miles or more than 30 minutes of driving to adjust during local driving (sometimes takes even longer). Had sensor replaced in June 2006 because of this. Did seem to respond quicker after that but was still quite slow at times. Even though the dealer changed the sensor then, they said that my outside temperature sensor and reading were working properly. Is doing the same thing this summer. Works fine in cold weather. Has anyone had any problems like this? Any tips?

I hardly notice any air coming out of my seats at all. Quite a contrast when compared to the GS and ES loaner cars I've driven that have had cooled front seats. I'm located in Virginia. Driver's seat cooling stops working after driving about 30 minutes on warm/hot days. Seems to work well when I first start driving. Worked great last summer and until about 3 weeks ago. Removing seat air filter makes no difference. (FYI: There is a small - and very expensive - air filter located under each front seat. Also, I think, under rear seats if they have seat cooling). Has anyone experienced this or similar problems with front seat cooling?

My 2004 LS430 came from the factory with 17" Dunlop H rated "P225/55R17 95 H" tires.

Has anyone had any experience with adding an after market XM Radio to a 2004 LS430 with the Navigation System? I am looking at the "XM Commander" which appears to be small enough to mount in the ash tray, has anyone done this? Any other experiences with after market XM? What about buying the XM kit from Lexus and having a good auto stereo shop install it? (my dealer wants over $400 to install it) I've also read somewhere about a Toyota XM kit that will work, does anyone know anything about this?

Has anyone looked at Michelin "HydroEdge" tires (I think that these are fairly new to the market and appear to be Michelin's top rated tire at this time), they are T rated versus H rating for original Dunlop "XP Sport 5000 H" tires. What about Michelin "Energy MXV4 Plus" H rated? I'd appreciate any comments about dry and wet traction, and quietness. FYI: Speed ratings--S-112 MPH, T-118 MPH, , U-124 MPH, H-130 MPH, V-149 MPH

Has anyone heard about a software update to fix the cornering surge problem in a 2004 LS430??? I've had this problem since the car was purchased new... I've read several comments in another forum about this problem and that a software update is available to fix it--unfortunately, I didn't pay attention to which forum I was on at the time...I haven't checked with my dealer lately about this, I'm waiting to see what I can learn from this forum...
