I hd the dealer change my trans fluid in my 07. Found out later that this is not part of necessary maintenance protocol. Cost me 150 or 200 bucks, and I've had a trans whine ever since. I'll keep an eye on this thread 2 c if someone knows what causes this.

I have Cinturados on my 07. They're wearing great, and very smooth and quiet. Bought over 4 years ago. Very happy w these.

Hi friends. I have an 07 ls w about 130k on it now. Ever since I bought the car 5 years ago w 68k, i see a ton of dark smoke in the mirror under full throttle. Power is great, and car has always been smooth, fast, and trouble-free (probably why I've never gotten around to fixing this). That said, clearly something's not right. Any ideas? I've run several bottles of Seafoam through the tank, and even ran a bottle through the crankcase, once. Car seemed to run even smoother, but didn't make a difference w this issue. TIA.

I hv an 07 w 133k right now. This car has been issue free, mechanically. Overdue to get plugs changed and rear diff fluid changed. Got a call in 2 Lexus,as i write this, for a price. I'll probably wind up doing it myself. Just finished replacing rear struts myself. What an improvement! But, now became obvious I need 2 do fronts, as well. This is all, obviously, regular maintenance. I've owned this thing for almost 5 years, and put 65k on it..........best car I've ever had, hands down!
