I would definately recommend ebc's green stuff. But, if you want the best from your pads and have the money for them, rebestos (sp?) makes several different lines of pads, and work excellent. not sure on the spelling, but if you go to any parts store and ask about them, they'll know what you're talking about. Any parts store should also have catalogs from the manufacturers. But do stay away from autozones and places like them. Stick with the pop shops, they'll know everything you need to.

Plus, you might find more help in the Rx forum.................. :whistles:

For a sc or rx? Plus, if it's custom, it hasn't been made yet.

Yeah man, those rims are pretty sweet. They definately compliment the color.

my last alt went out because the ps pump was leaking. i put in a new pump and alt. i checked the pump today and its not leaking. i bought a brand new battery like 6 months ago. i checked the battery terminals. i disconnected them while car was running and retightened them.
No wonder man. Don't ever disconnect while running. First off, you could get your !Removed! fried or really hurt your alternator. But, it does sound like the alt. If this is the third going on fourth, I would look inot a full electrical diagnostic. If you have a multi meter(screw the volt) and can read the wiring, you'll save on a lot of money.

So I assume this applies to the SC3 too? Cause I noticed all you guys have SC4's....
I also wonder about the 300. Doubt it changes much of anything in a 5 speed though.

My 93 has 170k and is still running strong.....I know that there are a few guys on this forum that have over 200k with no problems reported.
Alright, thats good news. Cause I don't think I could pass up the 5 speed anyway.

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum if ya couldn't tell. Had a question regarding the life expectancy of a stock 2jz ge. There is a 92 5 speed sc300 near me that I want to pick up, but it has nearly 150k miles on the odometer. Is this too much to even concider? I know to look for the normal problems, but is there anything major that has happened to any of you with higher milage?
Wrx Stock Turbo Will It Work On The Sc400?

first off, a turbo of that size is barely gonna do anything for ya. take into consideration of the cars weight and the turbos peak hp. 320 is nothing and everyone above is right. the cost of parting a kit together would be almost as much as a kit with a larger turbo. plus a 98 wrx, i garuantee it has shaft play or oil leaks.
