I registered on this site just to tell you THANKS!!!  You input on the lexus fan issue was RIGHT ON.  I realize there are a lot of pieces to the puzzle in the circuitry on these cars, but your input was right on.  I found nothing of any value on the web and was stumbiling around, pulling fuses, jumpering fans (both worked)etc. Then I stumbled on your recap and checked voltage in and out of the cooling fan computer.  Guess what low voltage.  Approx. 12 in and less than 6 out.  I bought a used one from a local wrecking yard for $110.  Problem solved both fans work as they should.  Thanks for taking the time to post.  I canceled my appt. with the local lexus dealer, and I'm sure saved a bundle!!
