First, make sure the terminals and the connectors are clean from corrosion If it looks like this I suggest getting new ones. If that fails, get a multimeter and check the voltage of the battery, which should be higher the 12v (12.59v is my battery) Other than that, I don't know how else to help but hopefully it is not that bad.
