  1. I went today at a Lexus Dealer and they said there is nothing wrong with the car. They also said that 10 miles/gallon is not ok even for city drives. I honestly think they didn't check anything because I was not a paying customers ( I have insurance). I will take it somewhere else tomorrow. They also said that they reset the computer. My new reading is 6.2 miles per gallon. They also scratch my front bumper really bad.
  2. Thank you for your response. Still, I think 10 to 12 miles per gallon is not ok. Mine does the same. When I wrote that if I am lucky I would get 18-19 MPG, that is highway and city combined. I never saw on my dashboard 28 or 32 MPG. I am taking it tomorrow to a Lexus dealer to have it checked. Hopefully they won't charge me a lot.
  3. Now listen to me. I do not know if you still have the car, but if you do and you have to change the brake pads or rotors, DO NOT buy from autozone again. They only have cheap stuff. Next time just get the AKEBONO STREET PERFORMANCE brake pads. (the ones the racers use). They are amazing. And for the rotors, get the BREMBO Rotors. Those are the ones that never rust.
  4. No, you cannot put regular gas. They changed that starting with the 2010 and up LEXUS. For those you do NOT have to use only premium, but for the 2009 it is required to use only PREMIUM. Good luck ! Do you still have the car, by the way ?
  5. JUST GET IT INSPECTED. For $149 any Lexus dealer will tell you if it is a good car or not ! Do not make the mistake like I did, to buy the car without having it inspected.
  6. Just replace the rotors, that is the problem. AND if you do that, you'd better replace the brake pads too. If you need good one, get the AKEBONO STREET PERFORMANCE (the racers use those). They are amazing. And the Brembo rotors. Good luck !
  7. SO is the Lexus Enform app working with your 2013 Lexus ? They told me it only works for the 2014 and UP.
  8. About the brake pads and rotors, what I would truly recommend would be the AKEBONO STREET PERFORMANCE brake pads (racers use those) . They are simply amazing !!! And the Brembo ROTORS. They ones that don't rust. You can find those on tirerack.com . Also about tires, get the MICHELIN ! The best. Good luck.
  9. Hello everybody. A few weeks ago I bought a beautiful 2011 Lexus ES 350. Right in the first day I noticed something is not right with the gas mileage. It is usually between 11 and 13 MPG. If I go on the highway, if I am lucky it would be 18-19 MPG. I know that is not right. Also, for example if it shows me that I have 300 miles left with my full tank and I drive (for example) 50 miles, instead of showing 250 which would be normal, the computer shows me 198. Also I need to specify that even if I do not need to, I always use the PREMIUM gas (93). Any idea if this could be fixable or I just got a bad car ? Thank you in advance for your response.
