  1. Don't think adding the SRT intake would keep it quiet. The consensus seems to be it is one of the louder ones.
  2. There is a noticable difference, although it is an 8 so it wont sound like a *BLEEP*ed off weedwacker. More of a lower grumble.
  3. My fuel milage went up after adding this. I think for people who it hasn't, probally romp on it alot more, to hear the engine, therefore not driving it for fuel efficiency. With stock wheels, SRT and Borla I was at 23.5 normally. Before I was around 21.5-21.9.
  4. First storm last year still had original tires on. Car was all over place, switched to winter tires, car was surprisingly much better. I live in the northeast where we got slammed last year.
  5. Now that you guys have shamed me into lowering my car :cries: , which set would you recomend? I currently have 3 in gap in front on 20's Tein S.Tech 1.7 in drop( I had tein coilovers on last car, were great, dont want to spend for coilovers.) L-Tuned 1 in drop Tanabe Sustec NF210 1.25-1.5 drop Tanabe Sustec DF210 2 -2.5 drop (too much?) Any others The L-tuned dont seem like they would be enough, if went with them, is it advised to do the l-tuned shocks too? Im looking to keep ride comfort, but like sporty feel too. thanks p.s. i did search alot, but I'm looking for people with expirience with these and the differences.
  6. I also have the Axxis Ultimate. The dust is unbearable. Also the squeeking is annoying, makes the car seem like is isn't taken care of. The stopping power is great. I drive in traffic every day, many time have had to lock them up, stopped me very quickly.
  7. Both the RL and GS are great rides. I do agree with you about the RL interior. The GS is stiffer and louder than the LS, but that is the point of the car. That's why they make different models? Personally although I think the car is unbelievable, the LS is not for me. You need to drive a few different ones in the same class then decide how much sport vs. luxury you really want. Luxury cars have changed soo much in the last 10 years that now most have great power and performance while still being "Luxury". Lexus is not just Luxury, Lexus is reliability. I'm sure the RL would be very reliable also. Having driven all four multiple times(Both GS's, the RL, & LS) it is a tough decision, but they are all different.
  8. I have the Axxis Ultimate Brake Pads, but they make an insane amount of dust on my wheels, anyone else have this problem?
  9. I have a 01 430 with Mark Lev and nav, but totally agree with JeffTsai!!
  10. I was driving my car home that had 29000 miles from the dealership when I felt something like a flat tire. The when I pulled over, all tires were good, now I heard scraping. Couldn't drive anymore, noone was at dealership, next day I called they said happens all the time, make sure e-brake is released, feeling stupid, I checked but my rear diff was shot. Said known to happen at times. After doing some thinking and talking to other dealerships about what is done at the 30 k maint., and how long a diff. would hold out with no fluid, I concluded they forgot to refill the diff with fluid. They denied, but fixed no questions asked because of the extended warranty.
