  1. I also have my RX (2005) in for a dash rattle. In my vehicle, the rattle is a plastic-on-plastic sound, located in the instrument cluster or just behind it...worse at freeway speeds. If the road is perfectly smooth (very few of those roads in CA), it does not occur. Apparently they found something, as they called me and told me they needed to keep it; a part needed to be ordered that won't be in until Friday. That rattle is the only complaint I have with my RX. It showed up when the car was about 9 months old.
  2. Two comments: First, someone mentioned a Ford Escape. My advice...be afraid, be very afraid. I've owned two Fords and I have taken a blood oath, "never, ever again!" Second, I have a Thundercloud '05 RX 330. I've only had it less than a month, but so far, so good. I am very, very pleased with the fit and finish. When I bought my last Ford in '98, within 48 hours I had it in the repair shop.
  3. I don't know the official name of the product, but many car accessory catalogs carry a small trash container that is designed to rest on the floor of the back seat area. These things are weighted at their bottoms so they they don't tip over when you turn or acclerate. Typically they come in basic gray, taupe, black, etc. The drawback is that you need to reach behind yourself somewhat to toss your cup, crumpled up napkin or whatever into the the container, assuming you do use it in the back. If no one ever sits in the front passenger seat, you could put it on the floor up front.
  4. Howdy, y'all...I'm new to the forum and soon to be a proud owner of a 2005 Thundercloud RX, which is due to arrive within the next 7 to 10 days. I know this will be in the owner's manual, but right now I'm planning some trips that are just around the corner, so your answers would be greatly appreciated. Is there an "official" break-in period recommended for the RX 330? If so, for how many miles? And if so, is there a speed that one is not supposed to exceed during the break-in? Thanks!
