If you can get into the interior, Remove the back seat and there is a trunk release handle in the trunk. I just hope the car is not stolen

Welcome to the club The milage should be around 19/25, 19.8 gal. tank. My low gas light comes on with about 5 gal in the tank. Heck, That's another 100 mi. or more on the highway.

There is no differential on an ES. The ES has a transaxel (front wheel drive) Heavy gear oil is used in differentials on rear wheel drive cars.
