There is no filter in your trans , It is a screen , My wife runs redline and I run toyota T-4 , In fact I just changed my oil and trans for the winter months here in MN. I always change my trans fluid out with my oil change , One mess and there both done. I like to keep well under specs for the LEX as far as maintenance issues. ;)

Guy, You are the best !!! there is zinc coating which is the most economical, It protects the rotor except the surface where the pads are received , Cad - waste of $ Try lexuspros.com they have decent specials on rotors and plating right now !!

How do you know that it registers E on empty ? and vice versa on full when it has only been a day ? Are you saying that when you turn the car off the guage doesn't go to E ? I take it that you filled it up since the incedent , Disconnect the neg battery cable for 20 min , and see if this resets the "DASH " It is worth a try . It is amazing what reseting the ECU can do . Hope this helps . Let us know how this turns out with the city if you pursue that avenue , No pun intended B)

Your tele wheel doesn't go down because your presets are no longer in the memory , You have to reset all the seat , mirror , and steering wheel preferences along with your radio stations etc... etc... How doesa it run now ?

Plugs ? Wires ? Injectors need cleaning ? Clean the throttle body ? Air filter ? :whistles:

Try reseting the ECU , disconnect the neg. battery terminal for 1/2 hr. you will loose your radio presets and seat memory !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT IS WORTH A TRY .

I ALWAYS USE 92 , THAT IS WHAT BP HAS FOR THERE HIGH OCTANE HERE IN MN. Same station all the time , same octane , great results !!!!
