Although that may not be the reason , It is the most common cause of the rear speakers blowing out in the SC400/300 . If you need new Nakamichi speakers I have several sets of brand new 2 way , They also work perfect with the pioneer system.

My 93 ES had a 6pk cartridge made by Pioneer. I used to buy them at audio stores. I want to know where I can get a different style cartridge for my 2002 ES. On this one you have to hold down a button to get the CDs out. ← I have many of both types of cd magazines PM or EM me for more info.

In response to all the SC guys with the rear speakers going out it is caused by a power surge when the volume is turned up and the car is started , When this is done repeatedly the rear speakers both blow out at the same time. This is a common problem with SC's.

The ebay items probably have problems too. Find out if they are refurbished or what kind of Guarantee/Warranty comes with them . Sceptical.....

What is the size of the sub? ← pioneer and nak both 10 in. but not interchangable.

Is your changer the 6 disc indash ? If your headunit has a 12 pin connector on the back [ built in 97 ] you can put a 6 disc pioneer in the armrest compartment , Let me know and We'll take it from there. B) ← Yes - the original Lexus indash 6 CD changer. Ideally, I'd like to find a cosmetically compatible indash changer rather than take up one of the only usable storage spaces in the vehicle. If that's not practical (and I don't want to pay Lexus $1000 for a stupid CD changer) then tell me about the Pioneer. Thanks! ← Well it sounds like your cd player is a FUJITSU and LEXUS has a exchange program that charges $300.00 if it is a panasonic the exchange is $325.00 and a pioneer exchange is $495.00. Anyways I can set you up with a 6 disc pioneer changer that mounts in the armrest compartment but you have to have the 12 pin connector behind your radio to install the changer. B)
