If you really want a nav for your new gs I have one for you they run $2600.00 shipped with install instructions and everything that is needed. The dealer wants over $10,000 and they won't install , they will want to sell you a GS that has nav already. If interested pm or em me for details.

I feel your pain when it comes to the cd changer. Lexus will swear up and down that the car is prewired - NOT. I have custom made wire harness for the factory changer and I also have the changers with cd magazines. EM or PM me for details.

My thoughts exactly. There are some really good looking ones to look at too!! Someone would have to pay me a lot of money to ride one of those things. I have an uncle that broke his neck on a late model Harley Fatboy when he lost control and went over a small cliff. Needless to say, he used the $25k(it was some rare anniver. model) in insurance money and bought something with some steel between him and the other motorists...he bought a '01 Town Car...quite a change of pace, but I guess a broken neck will do that to you. Luckily, he healed 100% and has no neck/back problems-he was extremely lucky. You guys be careful with those bikes! ← Bikes are great to look at. I'd rather drive my lex. My 2 cents. I assume you are upgrading your rims as well. ;) Alhough I like 20s, 19s and 18s are good choices too. Car looks meaner. More rubber in the rear on a RWD car helps to put more rubber to the ground. This means better performance. ← Neo you are the man. One more question. I love the 20's the most also, does it totally destroy the ride? Return the set of bulbs for another pair. I went through all this bulb changing and I decided on silverstars. That's my experience. B)

imho i think that is one of the lamest gs400s i have seen. i mean it looks like an entire forest was cut down for all that wood grain, and the skulls painted on the engine cover. i think its tacky and tasteless but i guess at the end of the day its still a lexus, im just saying i think its nasty :whistles: ← Buy the G4 that you want ,Then install a supercharger that you know is in excellent condition. I think you would be buying someone elses problem. Good Luck !!! B)

The LS is a great choice to move into from a GS4, Hell, I'm driving a GS300 and have been contimplating a LS for a year now but I can't let my GS go. I have decided to wait 1 more year then buy a LS and keep the GS too Just for times like you are going through now. Maybe you can switch cars every other day ? LOL Withdrawls will subside within 100 years or so....

Watch out for some of the aftermarket spoilers that have the led brakelight. I have heard that the wiring isn't always the same as factory which leads to electrical problems with the tail lights. Just thought you would like know..... I am looking for a three piece lip that you don't have to debadge to install.

Toysrme, Personally I think that your mod series posts are all well and good for all who want to make changes to there car. Forum members that disagree with your posts should ignore them and move on or discredit them with facts. This said your posts make for interesting reading. Keep up the good work. B)

I don't think there's anything compatible with your head unit. I totally changed out my head unit and original cd changer with new parts. Got a panasonic dvd head unit and a 6 cd changer. all original speaker and sub. They still sound great. ← Thats too bad as I need a replacement CD changer too and would like to try and keep it the old head unit. Win ← I have 2 pioneer 6 disc changers that are plug and play. They directly replace the 12 disc .PM or email for details. B)

I always thought that the moonroof was just a stationary window in the roof and the sunroof is a retractable window. I may be confused too !!! LOL

Are you looking to put nav in your 04 RX ? I can get you a OEM nav for the 04 if that is what you are looking for. Around $4000.00 B) Dealer parts dept. cost will be about $15,000 The option costs $8000.00 and they have to order it from japan if they can even get one. They are installed on the assembly line and I have never heard of anyone buying from a dealer and installing themselves. The wiring harness is integrated into the body harness at the factory. You will need a custom made harness if you get a OEM nav. Do you have the dvd entertainment system ? I have 1 on hand and ready to ship with complete install instructions [ it's not difficult just time consuming ].

If I'm not mistaken (members please correct me if I'm wrong)....the factory stereo is made by Pioneer. B) ← You will have to have a custom wire harness made. Don't know for sure but the speakers are most likley 4" B)
