The security code by default is the last 3 digits of your vin# I don't have my manual here but the procedure for unlocking the headunit is in the manual, I'll have it later. Or call a stealer for directions. Good Luck! ;) ← On my '93 ES300 the security code for the sound system is the last 3 digits of the keycode, not the VIN. I got the keycode from the Lexus dealer that I purchased the car from. He looked it up on some database. It's pretty easy to reset, but best to have the directions in front of you while you do it. I can never remember all the "push this, hold these buttons while you press that..." sequence. I can scan the pertinent pages from my owner's manual & post them if you don't have a manual. One more thing - you get a total of 9 incorrect tries to reset. On number 10 wrong entry, the unit locks up & must be sent to Lexus for re-programmming. So no button-mashing or guessing at the code or could be SOL! tck... ← My bad, Keycode it is.

The blizzaks are strictly for winter driving. You should have a set of summer tires.

A good mechanic, Buy a brand new LS, Rim size will not kill your mpg, Don't go nuts, This should not bring you to a trade. Try the above mentioned suggestions on this topic and if there is no difference we'll take it from there. Patience and understanding go a long way. ;)

It is advisable for you to use the "search" feature on these forums before you ask questions that have been asked multiple times in the recent past. Search and ye shall find. I am too lazy to do this for you.

Expensive for what it is. There are several magnets on the bottom of your oil pan now. You have to drop the pan to get to them and they already catch the metalic particals. So if you want to remove the debris on the magnets drop the pan and clean away. Besides it looks like it sticks up into the oil and not on the bottom where debris settles.

I think the exterior is all over the board, Sharp lines , Bulging, Curves, etc... I do like the pic with the garnet color auto. And the tail looks like it is too far up in the air. I don't care for it at all. The interior is just ok by the looks only.

My opinion= Junk, Snakeoil. Try a intake upgrade, exhaust upgrade, supercharge, turbocharge. Real upgrades = real gains.

You mentioned that the air filter was really bad, That leads me to beleive the car has been neglected. I would start with a full tune up , plugs, wires, all fluids, clean the MAF, motorvac, all the filters on the car, Like it has been mentioned check all the calipers and E-brake. Only use premium fuel and see how it runs after that. Good Luck

My first thought without seeing it is a connector or loose wire within a connector. Check with care

A aftermarket cd changer will not be able to understand the headunit commands. If your car is not factory prewired then you will need a custom wiring harness to complete your stock system. I have the custom wiring harness if interested.

Did you try replacing the batteries?
