  1. First, I don't have any direct knowledge of this problem fix but I just looked up the autopartswearhouse.com price for 8 replacement control arms with various names, for Lexus LS460 and the total came to about $757 If a qualified shop could do the work for say $130 hr and 16 hr just guessing that would be $1920. for a total of $2677. or about half of $5,000. estimate.

Also you can search this forum for that problem from prior postings.
  3. This is not a huge problem but considering how Lexus advertises so much about their superior quality, I should not have a OEM windshield with imperfections. The aberrations are most noticeable when looking from the drivers side out through the passenger side. Just wondering if many others have noticed inferior windshields in their Lexus.
  4. You can look at your service receipts to see if they checked that the battery was checked and when. If you want to make sure it doesn't happen again you can buy a can of NCP-2 battery corrosion preventive, and brush it on the post. Look on Google to locate some, it's about $12 for 4oz that much would last years. Of course the battery on the LS is not easy to uncover.
