  3. That's why there are so many boosted sc400's.
  4. ... of the country. Race united!
  5. The rear end can be coaxed out and put right back where it belongs. It can hug a radius. With a suspension change, will run all over the track. If you lose it, the weight will carry you - so watch out.
  6. I'm beginning to think you work for SPEng. I JZ will fit. But it will be harder to get parts for, service, and modify - unless you read japanese or are in Austrailia (not really). It's a great motor - check out the FAQ - but in the long run the USDM turbo version would be the most effective.
  7. Yes - I do. But I wasn't born with one. I did a lot of studying. It has a Toyomoto set-up. That's just between you and me though. ;) I'll trade you a 1997 Honda Accord LX(it's automatic) B) for your 2002 Audi. Wad da ya say?
  8. If you are asking if 19" wheels will fit the 430, then I'd say - yes. Plus 1 is not a major issue. If you are looking for some nice wheels I would recommend HRE or Zauber Gettins. Of course there are a multitude of quality wheel manufacturers out there. Check out those wheel manufacturers on google. Locate some vendors and give them a call to see what they recommend for an SC430. There was a thread here about some replacement wheels as well. I would guess anywhere from +35 to +50 offset will be okay for you on every day driving. If you upgrade brakes or suspension, offset may need more consideration. Check out our wheels/tires forum as well. You may be able to find an answer there too. Good luck.
  9. The Advan team is tearing up the asphalt again.... get it while it is hot - or until it is gone right click - save as Check out the soarer........ mmmmmmmmmmm........ burnt rubber..... crazy mugs falling out of the car while they drive..... looks like fun
  10. Maybe.
  11. If you buy a 92 or 93 then you don't need to worry about it. The ecu is obd1 until 96.
  12. I looked at f-max and liked what I saw. A lot of people in Lexus and toyota rings talk bad about the f-max kit though. Apparently there was a supra somewhere that threw a fuel line and caught on fire and people blamed the f-max kit. I'd be more prone to blame installation error. I don't see anything wrong their product. I have heard other people with those kits be very satisfied and it is a good starting place. From what I understand, all necessary peices are included. You would want to verify with any vendor that all parts will be included and get a list of those parts. When I checked on it, you could do just about any arrangement you like. It comes with fmic, hardpipes, silicon connectors, t clamps, manifold, turbo, 2 auxillary injectors, fuel controller, and msd btm or rideal gasket. I'd get the btm over lower compression gasket. The gate is a deltagate, some say Tial makes a better unit, most suppliers will let you upgrade however you want. I was going to get an f-max kit for a honda, but I'm trying to decide if I want to waste my money on it or get a better car to turbo. But f-max is up there on my list if I want an intro turbo set-up. Some may even come with gauges wich could be good.
  13. It might. If it is the same size dimensions and power ratings. Never tried it. The audio/video forum might be able to help you a little more with this.
  14. OBD is on board diagnostics. The way the engine control unit or management system works or is programed to work from the factory. The computer controls timing and fuel injection (at the least) while monitoring things like rpm, oxygen levels in exhaust, etc. for best drivability and fuel economy/emissions. OBD2 cars are just trickier to turbo.
  15. The fuel pump control unit. Try to bypass it and run high voltage mode. If your stalling stops, then that is your problem. Check fuel filter as well.
  16. Ridin spinners Gangstarr blingin :P Spinners
  17. A car is only as good as its driver. :magic: Hmm. You ever seen Getaway in Stockholm 2? Visit Kazaa and search supraTT, mkiv, track etc.
  18. Depends on what you want. I think 1995 is the best year because it is obd1 and it's what I have. 1996+ is obd2 1997 is last year for 5 speed 1998 is vvti and coil packs Any model year is great though. You want a turbo? I recommend obd1.
  19. Supras handle very well. So do SC's.
  20. www.taprecycling.com 1. Not too hard. $$$$ 2. Yes and no. The tranny housing might be different. The driveshafts are different length. Should be the same differential - heard something about the driveshaft input flange causing a problem. Haven't been there though. Cltuch, cylinders - etc. $$$ Just buy a 5 speed to begin with - I know where there are a few for sale if you are serious.
