  1. Got the fronts done. Wheels mounted. All I can say is delicious. Can't find my digital though.
  2. Call other places and get their prices too. I just hit google and pick up the phone. Good luck. ;)
  3. UCF3 - don't hold out man, post a link on the Tom's info or something. Sweet find there.
  4. I wouldn't go so far as to say everyone is wrong in this thread. We are all saying the same thing. All I said was, I was unfamiliar with anyone with this set-up in the states. Now someone spoke up that has one. Thanks, another resource. Feel free to contribute. It still costs a lot and there are better ways to get the power, IMO. But to each his own - and nothing is wrong with that. Good luck to all.
  5. I'm trying to make contact now. Tentativley, 50% could be anywhere from 300 to 500$ with a max cap price at 1,000$ shipped. Anything above that costs exceeds what it is worth in my opinion. Let me know if you feel otherwise. Does that mean you two are in? Bubbles and speedimij? Bubbles, I'm aware of the item you are referring. I was not involved with that and won't be either. I figure a better apporoach is to secure a deal for a minimum # of units and go from there.
  6. I need minimum two partners with 50% up front. I won't go ahead until I have a definite deal from a potential vendor and references. I like CF OEM style. :whistles: Don't reply unless your seriously up for it.
  7. I got the hat and the Sticker B)
  8. I understand your viewpoint and appreciate your input. Perhaps mentioning your impression in the suggestions forum may get a direct response from our admin. At this point, we do not have many 430 owners. We can sticky 430 info for now if that would assist. As far as turbo on the 4.3 - nothing for now. Unless you want to custom 1 off it. I would recommend contacting Lextreme - www.lextreme.com - as he has experience with forced induction on the UZ-fe motors if you are willing to do some fabrication and go from there. There are some minor body upgrades that can be done and perhaps a torque converter available from level ten or precision industries. Check out the faq - even though it is heavily Xzz3X model SC's the info can be applied to all Lexus in general. Good luck - let me know if there is anything I may do to assist. AJ
  9. Get a torque converter first off. Try www.converter.com... Wheels? 114.5*3 bolt pattern. Roughly +45 offset should be fine but get good consultation or measure correctly - there are a couple threads here in this forum about that stuff. Then you can check out a custom turbo set-up. Enjoy.
  10. Steve Ganz has a deal going on JIC's SF-1's right now. I don't have any extra cash at this point, otherwise, I'd be all over it. Contact - Tell him AWJ sent ya
  11. I'm in the same boat as you...so I'm anxious to see what people have to say also. I've read about everything from torque converter, rear slip differnential, to turbo charger...but I've never seen a concensus on which one is better to improve overall driving speed and "quickness". We should start a poll or something... Turbo is the only way to go. Get a nice size T04e with a conservative set-up a la f-max or toyomoto style. Two auxillary injectors and better fuel pump. Tuned for 300 or so plus easy - reliable horsepower on tap. Good luck. Oh yea - must definitely do the torque converter if nothing else. Tranny cooler for extra measure = whole new slush box fun.
  12. Custom is depending. Do the layup yourself and get it for cost of materials. Not too easy though. So I'm going to see about getting a couple of these hoods. Any serious takers? Should I start another thread with an interest poll?
  13. Not that I know of. In my experience, nothing comes close to the factory service manual as far as accuracy and utility. Good luck though. Let us know the quality if you decide to persue it.
  14. Never saw those, but the MKIV Supra TT front brakes are 13.5 or so diameter rotors, mine are cross drilled slotted and cadmium plated - and the calipers are 4 piston direct mount. Just pop off the old stuff, pull of the dust cover and bolt up the new stuff. Bleed the brakes and ready to rock. I'll get pictures together shortly.
  15. Pretty straight forward. I'd recommend getting the factory service manual. Haven't done one on an SC yet. Winter job.
  16. Give our guru's in the audio/video forum a shot. ;) They may know more.
  17. Nope. :(
  18. Fairly easy to do. Strip out the trunk panel and you'll see it. Undo the ring on the outside top of the antennae assy with a spanner or carefully then unbolt and check it out. Seen 'em on ebauy or try taprecycling.
  19. Ouch... <_< That will take some digging. Any takers?
  20. Tein's are available. The HA's have been said to offer the best ride. I'm planning on JIC Flt's in the future. But that will be after poly busings and Daizen bars. I'm interested to see how changing the bars and buhsings will affect the car with a stock suspension.
  21. Claws are tires right? In size 18 - I don't know that they make them and if they do, they are probably going to cost. It was a package deal. For the price, the Hankook Ventus will be fine. I'll run them and see how they do. Those won't be the wheels I do the real hard driving on anyways. I got that set of 18's new with tires for the price that shops were quoting me to chrome the mkiv sets I've got. So I figured it was worth it. I'll have 1 set of the mkiv's powder coated and then I'll be unloading the other set. But they are not ready to go yet.
  22. I have the Sumitomo Supra TT brake upgrade. Trust me, it is much needed :P
  23. Wow! I don't think they do that over here. They might. I'm sure you will notice the improvement. Go for it!
  24. So I got greedy. I have 13 days to get done what I need to do. Guess I better hurry. Here is one of the rears: Oh snap! 18*9.5 R Some lip for you fans: MMM tasty! I need to mount these but before that, install the big brakes. Gonna be buisy. Got a week to do it in I guess. *what's this no dynamic link hooey?
  25. Making the ///M tuners cringe all around the world.
