  1. Deja Vu??? Oh this was one of those lost threads I think. 50g's yo!
  2. If it is not the bulbs, then the display is leaking and it can only be fixed by replacing it. Sorry.
  3. That is a coilover system I think. So the drop will be as much as the carrier perch is set to. I think the range is just over stock height to maybe 2 inches down. Not sure though. You'd have to contact Tein or a vendor. Unless someone here has them and can answer that question.
  4. Do you have a link?
  5. No way. Show me a dyno. It might give 2hp.

    Hp Vs Torque

Torque means fun. Those in the know.... know.
  7. I was going to say right around that figure as well. There are blue book sites that are fairly representative. A higher mileage car might need things replaced like Sadistic mentioned. Just be ready for it, or spend the money and buy one with lower miles. I also would not have a problem buying a high mileage SC in the right condition.
  8. Use our by/sell forum. Check out 502 street scene in google. Hit up Cincinnatti Street racin dot com too. Just register and use the classified sections. That's how I sell my cars. Free web space. I found my car on autotrader though.
  9. The mileage on a vehicle will affect the value of the car. That said, the 2jz-ge is an overbuilt and very strong motor. With proper care, I would not be surprised to see the thing go for a very long time. I've heard of them at 220+k miles and still going just fine. I had one a 105K that ran like it had 10K on it. I have one turboed now at 67k and it purrs too. It will take care and maintenance like anything else. But it should last a long time. Just keep in mind that for the money - one with much less miles could be found. Not that the car in question is a bad one.
  10. I'll bet it's not, but it is definitely worth checkin'. Just ribbin ya' sk - you wanna make a side bet though to make it a little interesting? Axis, if you know how to do these troubleshooting items give it a shot and let us know what you find. If you don't but have some mechanical ability, buy the factory service manuals and trouble shoot from there. They are worth their weight in gold. Otherwise take it to a good mechanic familiar with imports and tell him what you told us and have him check what we told you. The IAC is a fairly easy check for a guy like that. I want to win 10 bux from sk ;) Do yourself a favor and make sure your vacuum lines are all hooked up and not damaged, spark plugs are good, wires, rotor button and cap, clean connections, good air filter - and go from there.
  11. You can remove the light completely as well. I use the lighter for a power source on hard wiring. It is just a fuse. Get the dime out of there though. The lighter comes out as a part of the center console and it can be removed from behind if you know how to get the console surround out. It is really quite easy but not if you've never done it before.
  12. No problem Robert. Maybe something was stuck in the tracks there - couldhave been dirt or something. Or something in the mechanical assy might be lose. It would be worth taking a look, without tearing it apart. If you see nothing, let it go. If it starts happening more and more, you may have to take it apart.
  13. It could be a list of things. But since it only does it when you start the car after already driving - I want to say it is the fuel pump ecu, because that is one symptom.
  14. I'd like to take a moment to welcome Lex Luthor to our team. He has been quite an authority on several items regarding many types of cars in the past. I let him give us any details that apply. I'm very pleased Lex Luther has joined us and I'm looking forward to lots of good ineraction in the future. Welcome my man!
  15. PM me with your e-mail. I can send the radio head side info. You should be able to find all the schematics you need in the electical supplement for the factory service manuals.
  16. Looks great my man. I'm going to bump this over to the wheel tire forum. May we can make it a sticky.
  17. I think you should take it to a stereo shop and tell them what you want. I think the oem speakers are made by pioneer, yes.
  18. An older model car is apt to radiator problems if not caught. Try a fluid top off first. If you are over heating get help from a professional mechanic. Find out wich bulb is out back there and replace it. The squeak is possibly ball joint. Worn bushings are worth replacing. That should handle that. The moonroof on our cars stops in the middle normally during closing. The switch has to be pressed again to close it completely. Just one of those things. Gives you time to get anything out of the way ;) . Or the switch, motor, relay or wiring and or mechanical operation is to blame. Never had a problem with mine. I think Rich is cursed though. :( Just kidding man. It think you should take that car in to get the heater fixed though. The power steering pump can go out on these cars and that is a problem - then it leaks on the alternator. Hey it's gotta go somewhere right?
  19. I don't know about discounted but I've seen them in our very own buy sell forum. I would recommend paying by COD though whenever buying from a private seller due to the potential for problems.
  20. Speaker is probably bad. Test with known good speaker. Match the impedance on a replacement.
  21. A speaker with the same ratings should work just fine. I don't see why it would be a problem. Even if it was rated wrong, you will only blow the speaker again. Match the impedance.
  22. That is correct. Wheels will need to be sized correctly to clear upgraded rotors. But there are 17 inch wheels that will do it. Of course, we all like some blingin' 18's. ;) Take the stock TT wheels for example.
  23. Don't get me wrong, that is only one option. Honestly, I prefer the stock look myself as it is hard to get an aftermarket unit to look at home in any car not to mention our SC's. Just trying to give a you little idea. If you decide that is your option to go with, then by all means go for it. It will be much more expensive to get a whole replacement with quality stuff that to just replace the speaker. You could even just throw a similar rated aftermarket speaker in to replace the damaged one. Check out our audio visual forum for more assistance/inspiration. Good luck.
