  1. I have had the same problem. At least twice on both sides. I spoke with the service manager and he confirmed that Lexus has a problem with the coating on the bulb. There is now a replacement bulb and I haven't had any further problems since they were both replaced.
  2. Has anyone ever checked how accurate their average MPG display is? Mine shows about 21 to 21.4 MPG ( I do a lot of highway driving). The other day, I did accurate manual check on the gas MPG, it was more like 19 MPG. The in dash display shows a couple of gallons on the high side. With all of the computer stuff on board, there really isn't any reason why it should be inaccurate.
  3. Thanks for the information!!!! Yes, I agree. The hot weather that we are having has all but made it go away for now. :D
  4. I have a 2004 GX-470 with about 45K miles. Recently, I have noticed that the drivers seat is creaking like an old wooden desk chair. Has anyone else experienced this problem?
  5. Very interesting. I noticed this problem after buying my GX-470. I first thought it was a tire out of balance and took it back to the dealer. This didn't seem to fix it, but what I noticed was that the setting of the ride control seemed to eliminate the vibration. The softer the ride setting, the more it would vibrate. I then realized that Lexus must have a design problem in the suspension somewhere. I keep in the ride control set in the middle and I really can't feel any vibration.
  6. I agree with you. There seems to be a problem with the regulation of temperature.
  7. I have had my GX-470 for just over a year, and during this past year, I have had the front turn blinker lights burnout at least twice on each side. Just had one go out again last week so we are now on the third round. The dealership replaces them each time for free, but it is irritating. Supposedly, an improved bulb has been installed, but they are still burning out. Has anyone else seen this?
