In my idea upgrading the rims 1-2 size bigger from the oem size will be fine as long as you would use the right tire size to complement the overall diameter of the original size. I use Optimum and DP rinsless wash. First I use california dust to remove any dust and light dirt. Than I wash per panel only and dry with a cobra guzzler. I do this once a week.

Zymol Pure carnauba wax. Smells good and you will really appreciate it coz it should be applied by hand.

I have tried Mother headlight restorer kit and Meguairs heavy duty headlight restoration kit. Both products works great. But Meguairs is the most expensive but works faster .
