My 2000 RX with 80,000 miles has recently begun to have trouble starting in the morning (cold). When I pump the accelerator once or twice and try again it will start, but doesn't sound quite normal for a minute or so. It runs fine and starts warm like it is new. Any suggestions about what to look into are appreciated. Thanks.

Does anyone have recommendations for a mechanic in Arlington or Fairfax Virginia? I haven't had the best experiences with the Arlington Lexus dealer and the one in Fairfax is very far away. Thanks!

I have a 2000 RX 300 with "premium sound", not Nakamichi. At a store on the web -- http://www.partydown.com/items/item375.htm -- they are selling a Panasonic OEM cd changer. Does anyone have experience with this product or store? I am hoping to easily install this myself in the glove box and be able to use the cd controls in my stock head unit. Will I need a special adapter? Thanks in advance for any/all advice. Steve

I'm a newbie, so please bear with me. I have only the non-Nakamichi cassette deck in my 2000 RX 300. On Ebay someone is selling a used Lexus CD changer that fits in the glovebox. If I buy this can I easily install this myself? Will I need any special adapters or wires? The idea of having a changer controlled by my factory deck is very appealing. Thanks for any help.
