i have an 01 RX silver sport. i was wondering if i would be able to tow a horse and the trailer. the owners manual says that the capacity is 3500 lbs. and the trailer and horse would be about 2500 lbs. any and all info would be appreciated. thanks.

does anyone have any exploded views or diagrams for the front brakes? i took the wheels off today to check the brakes because they squeak really bad. the brake pads and the rotors still look good. any ideas as to why they squeak so bad and what i can do about it? thanks, Mike

i was wondering if anyone had replaced the tail bulbs with LED lights and what they thought about it. if you have, did you use the bulbs with the lights that also go around the bulb, or just the standard bulbs. thanks, mike

what kind of gas milage should i expect from my 01 IS 300? i'm getting about 18 with a lot of freeway driving. also, should i be using 91 octane? i'm currently using 87. thanks, mike

I was having this problem and thought that the tensioners were bad. Atleast that's what the dealer told me. They also told me that it would be about $530+/- to fix both the driver and passenger side. Thank you so much for the advise. I can't believe how good they work now just from cleaning them.

I called a certified Toyota/Lexus mechanic and they were going to replace both seat belt tensioners. They were going to charge me $530+/- to do the job. I'm still debating if I want to pay that much for the work.

I just got my RX 300 and the seatbelts were already like that. I think that I just need to have the tensioners replaced.

What I'm looking for is the cover that goes above the cargo area and prevents anyone from the out side looking in to see what you have. Does anyone know where to get them? Lexus want $500 for it. Thanks

I have a 99 RX 300. Both the front driver and passanger side seatbelts are very loose and I constantly have to pull on them to tighten them. Anyone else have this problem and/or know how to fix it? Thanks
