I've had my 05 AWD RX for about 2 weeks also. I've gotten a loud squeaking noise coming from the engine area when driving in the rain... but its is only happen about three times now and only when I come to a stop...

That sounds really low... I've had mine for a month now and I've been getting 17-20 MPG on avg

This would be very helpful!!! This safety feature is very annoying... esp if you have your phone connected to the bluetooth. you can't use the nav for much while driving. So if anyone knows the how the bypass this it would be very much appreciated
