I'm with PlaneSys - Bill - you found out what I was looking for - Thanks. The reply I got was a catch-all generic product they pitched my way - not an OEM solution. I wanted to know if/when the real OEM product was coming out - Thanks to you I know it's probably June. As for TexLex - hopefully he'll start reading posts more carefully before launching any attacks. I haven't been hanging out in this forum very long ... I hope his attitude doesn't represent the majority here ...

Thought I'd update this thread ... I sent this message to Sirius customer support yesterday: Sirius and Lexus announced in December 2004 that an OEM radio would be available in February for certain models, including the 2005 LS-430. My Lexus dealership isn't aware of the announcement and can find no part number to match. I have Sirius in my other car and do not want to switch to XM unless I have to. The Lexus interior is so nice that I would only consider an OEM solution. Can you provide an update on the Lexus/Sirius partnership? I picked up my 2005 LS430 ultra just after Christmas. I've been driving my vette for the last 1 1/2 weeks while I Zaino'd the lexus (I'm slow but the end results are good!) - and the LS430 battery seems to be just fine. I'd guess you've either got a weak battery or a short. I agree the smart key can cause trouble, but your post sounded like you weren't walking past the car with the key. I'd ask the dealer if they'd test/replace the battery.
