  1. I own an RX and love it. I'm always thinking of my next car so I recently test drove a MKC. It had a sticker of $40k+/-. I was thinking I would to like to downsize from the RX but not now. The MKC felt small and cramped. The rear seat legroom was too small and the cargo area is a deal killer for me. These two vehicles are worlds apart not only in price but usuable size. I'll be looking at the new Lexus NX when it comes out which reportedly has more room than the MKC. So I guess if cost is your only concern the MKC works along with other compact SUV's out there.
  2. No. They won't be at dealerships until this fall-Nov/dec. Some dealers may get a pre-production model to show.
  3. I was so much looking forward to the NX. The compact suv is the size I want for our next vehicle. I must say though that the F sport front end is atrocious. The large cow catcher grill turns me off. The hybrids grill is a little better. Hopefully seeing it in real life will not be so bad. The NX is certainly designed for a younger market with the turbo engine. I won't touch a turbo DI high pressure system until at least a year later to see if Lexus got it right. So it looks like a hybrid is my thinking but wary of what the price will be.
  4. The photos in the article are of the concept vehicle. The production model will be toned down a lot.
  5. I agree, why bring this out when the supposed NX300h(t) will be unveiled in November. The front and rear of this is awful and totally impractable.
