Why do you have to pay $650? Your car still under manufacturers warranty.

Sometimes when the sunroof is open you can feel it coming from the windshield and it is proportional to the speed.

I am trying to reduce gas usage on my 01 GS300 and one of the things on my list is replacing of fuel filters. Dealer says to replace this thing they will charge me $600!!!!. I think it is way too much. When I called regular shop they said it will be $30 with filter included. So I have a question: How many fuel filters in 01 GS300. Is there one located in a tank and another outside? I bought this car with 39000 mi on it. It has high gas usage: in a city it is 10 g/m. I replaced original plugs with NGK IK16, installed K&N air filter, flashed transmission. Nothing helps. Dealer does not see any problem. Any suggestions welcome. Thank you

Just because the dealer tells us so, doesn't mean he knows what he's talking about! :whistles: It's no wonder car dealers (AKA stealers) get such a bad rap. Misinformation abounds at the local stealer. To curb my curiosity, I just checked the wiring diagrams for every GSXXX from 1998 to 2005. They all work the same way. The switch is on, the seat is on; inclement weather or not. ← Can you explain why it did not work at the summer time and works now? Nobody touched these seats.

I have 01 gs300 and was confused myself that seats were cold in summer time when hitter was on. I came to the dealer and he said that it will work only if it cold outside. It works now very good.
