I got mine working now. First when I paired the car and phone (LG L34C Optimus Fuel Android Smartphone with Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS) there was no audio on the carphone, but the call conected and I heard it on the phone next to me. Here's how I got it to work again and work properly, - Delete the "L34C" CELLPHONE from the carphone menu under PAIRED PHONES. - Open Bluetooth Icon on CELLPHONE & delete "BLUETOOTH HANDS FREE" on the cellphones menu of bluetooth devices. - Turn off car completely. - Start pairing again (to do this select add phone from carphone menu and the 4 digit code will appear. Tap BLUETOOTH HANDS FREE in cells list of devices to begin pairing process. Enter the carphones 4 digit code into the phone after it's recognized as a "bluetooth device located" and listed on the menu). It took me two times repeating the whole process before it worked out. So be patient, you are not the problem.

GGinPA, Any chance you figured this out? I too own a 2006 RX400h and just bought a LG L34C Optimus Fuel Android Smartphone with Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS. The phone connected and it worked as far as linking and dialng out thru my carphone system, but there was no audio. Then I noticed I heard a phone ringing on the LG phone beside me. I later looked at my phone settings and it was set to"use phone for audio". So, I deselected that but didn't get a connection today. Thanks in advance people

I just fixed mine after doing all these tips listed below in this order. You'll need to following: a small blade(small knife, butter knife even), piece of cardboard or paper folded (old CD) to keep CD door proped open(thicker is better), a large paperclip, flashlight): Once you see orange lighting appear in the corners of the CD load/onload area it's funtioning again. You should then be able to remove, load and play CD's again like I am able to once again. Good luck 1 - Used the small knive blade to push UP the CD door, then Stick a piece cardboard to keep door open at Right side (anything thinner than a 1/4 " will work (paper folded, a twig). 2 - Unfold a paperclip and poke it into the pinhole on LEFT SIDE in CD slot opening a few times. 3 - You'll see three lighter spots, in middle of CD opening. Aim above & below there using the knife tip to push up and down on cartridge face which you see just inside CD load/unload opening. Press eject or load while doing this a few times. 4 - With the car running and stereo on, press and hold down both EJECT and LOAD buttons, at the same time, for 2-3 minutes, then release both buttons. 5 - Press Eject button a couple times. turn engine off and restart again. Turn on stereo to Disc and press eject. Once you see orange lighting appear in the corners of the CD load/onload area it's funtioning again. You should then be able to remove, load and play CD's again like I am able to once again. Good luck
