  1. Exhaust takes some getting used to, if you can manage to stick it out for the next month or so, you will probably adjust to the sound, Blitz is not the quietest but is on the quiet side by comparison to some others like Greddy or HKS.
  2. Actually there was a GS during this past December to remember, silver, chrome wheels parked in a garage.
  3. Hey guys remember this, it won't matter what pads or rotors you run if your wheels are not torqued, any time your wheels are removed make sure your mechanic torques your wheels and does not just install them with an impact gun. A combination of heat and unevenly applied pressure will warp a rotor every time. Invest in good torque wrench and save yourself some money, 75 Foot lbs. for GS.
  4. Whats up guys? Has anyone installed Tom's mirror blinkers or the dvd nav conversion, both are sold by lextasy, if so how difficult were they to install? post pics if you have any, thanks.
  5. You are going to have to go to a smaller tire in the front, 245/35/20 is all the tire you will be able to run. I learned after making the same mistake you did, my front tires rubbed during tight turns such as backing out of a parking space, and this was before my suspension drop.
  6. Nitto Extreme 555's are great tires, quiet and smooth riding. Also great in the rain, much better than Yokahama AVS sports. I'm on 20's so you should have no problems.
  7. Dope ride man, I made the mistake of putting 255/35/20's on 20 x 8.5's all around. Have a slight rub in the front, too bad Yokahama AVS sport dosen't make a 245/35/20, may have to change all four. I'm in South Florida part of the year, maybe we'll hook up at a show.
  8. Nice wheels, What size tires are you running?
  9. Hey , I could use this info as well. I have 20's on my 98 GS, thanks.
  10. I have a 92 wearing 17 x 7.5's and 215/45/17's, started out with 235/45/17's but I had a rub at the rear wheels. Depending on where you live (potholes) the 18's might not leave you enough tire, hope this helps.
  11. I may have a real simple fix for you, I have a 1992 ES with 180K on it. Back at about 158K, I had the same problem you have. I went to the Lexus dealer and they replaced the radiator cap, problem solved. From what I remember, they said this is a pressurized system and once the cap seal is compromised it causes overheating. You will want address this problem very soon with this being an aluminum engine. Hope this works for you.
