  1. Hello everybody, this is my first winter with my 2007 RX400h - so maybe my question is stupid, but I want to give it a chance before I´ll go to the dealer. Simply - as temperature went down to 7°C or bellow, consumption has increased from usual 9 litres to 11-12 litres/100km. I noticed that although the battery is around 75% charged, the gas engine turns on much more often than times before. Somebody told me that in cold times the system tries to keep the engine warm and that´s why. So I drive through the city with full battery on gas...no error message at the board or display. Did you experience the same?

    Many thanx, Petr.

  2. I ordered and finally got my Harrier, or "Thundercloud" Grille. I saw one of these in Europe and really loved the grill and especially the Harrier "Hawk" emblem. I ordered them both separately, the grill for $265 on ebay and the emblem for about $75. I don't know if you can tell but the hawk is gold in an oval of chrome, very cool!

Now that I have them, I love them. They add to the front end lip that I've had for a while and my RX 400h really looks nice to me. Happy trails, Rey in sunny L.A.

I love it - that´s simply a must have! You were lucky to get it for that price - now there´s only one for almost 400,- USD...

  3. Hello to all,

I finally found RX400h in a great shape with a nice milage for reasonable price. Although the car is great by itself, I want to do several mods and hope to find here some hints and know how. I planning to do:

    1) side mirrors with turn lights
    2) aluminium pedals
    3) front grille - exactly what Cduluk has!
    4) 20" wheels
    5) darkening rear lapms, possibly replacing orange turn lights bulbs for LEDs
    6) replacing interior light bulbs for LEDs
    7) installing LED front daylights
    8) changing AMBER lightning of sills and pedal area into BLUE
    9) installing some hooks into tha cargo area, becasue free movement of shopping bags makes my wife unhappy :-)
I am very thankful for any tips & tricks!
As I got the car with an owner´s manual written in French (my car was originaly bought in Monaco), I am little bit lost sometimes. Basic question - I miss (honestly, my wife miss it) some kind of onboard computer data - I can see the energy management, current and average consumption - but I can´t find something like available range based on average consumption and amount of gasoline in the tank. Is it hidden somewhere?
    Many thanx to all!
    Petr.
