I have the K&N FIPK and love it. Can't comment on the SRT. The sound is much louder than stock (though, from what I understand, not as loud as SRT) but it is a great sound. Makes the GS 400 sound like it has a V8. As for performance, it feels like I lost a little on the bottom end and gianed a little at the top.

Engelwood Lexus - outstanding service yesterday form their service department after I had just picked up my first (used) lexus. I have never been treated so well by a dealership in my life. The Service Advisor's name was Peter, and the Tech John. I hope all Lexus dealers are this good!

In the market for a used vehicle and trying to decide between 97-98 540i and 98-99 Lexus. I favor the perceived sportiness of the BMW, but need the car to be very reliable as a daily driver. MBrown, you have owned a 99 540i - how did it hold up for you? What mileage did it have when you sold it?
