  1. Can anyone recommend a good handsfree speakerphone setup (not a headset or earbud etc.) for under $200.00 that can be mounted in the ES. Thanx
  2. I bought my hood struts from Lexus of New Orleans for only $56.00 a piece(it sounds like I got a deal). Andy is that $180.00 for labor too? It only takes about 15 minutes to change them; there are only 2 screws per side to get them out-it's soo easy!
  3. Jonathanho, here is a picture of the little boot
  4. skperformance, Alan, thanks for the help. I sprayed some WD 40 in there and now they work perfectly. thanks
  5. In my 94' ES, the dome light in the headliner only comes on when either of the front doors are opened never when either of the rear doors are opened. Is this normal, or do I have a problem?
  6. John B, do you have the door glass off? If so, there is a panel that appears to run accross the middle of the door-you need to remove the bolt and the plate that hold it in place. Next is the regulator-you can take it off by removing 8 nuts;then they say the regulator will come out by disconnecting it. If you need me to back up some on this procedure let me know
  7. By some stroke of luck I found the real Lexus dual volume service manuals on eBay. And the best part is they were only $65.00 shipped to my doorstep. They are terrific!! Thanks for help skperformance and steviej.
  8. Actually it was only a 10 minute job. Get a small screwdriver, put some tape on the blade, pop off the wood trim panel around the shifter. Next pop off the black trim piece above the cup-holder, and voila you have access to the 4 phillips screws that hold the astray in. I found all of this in my new Lexus Service Manual that I just bought off of ebay for $60.00. They are huge helps. Thanks for all of the help and sugestions.
  9. LexuSY, my '94's astray is designed so that when it is closed it slightly turns into the dash on a very slight angle, so when my loose change was in there(and I guess I hit a really big bump), it just fell out the back of the astray on the astray tracks and into the dash. You probably won't have this problem on your '98 as I am sure Lex redesigned it.
  10. Change has fallen behind my ashtray and will not let it close. Can anyone tell me how to remove? Thanks
  11. This may be a stupid question, but I am going to go ahead and ask it anyway. What does the "ES" in ES300 stand for, if anything? thanks
  12. Are there any avalible service manuals for a 1994 ES300 that is not on cd (from Chilton, Lexus, or any other reputable)? All help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
