  1. I thought they were just going to put the blades on for no charge. When I looked at my statement as left, I called the heifer and told her that next time she is going to charge me a ridiculous labor fee, to let me know prior to payment. I told her that I could have easily done it myself and saved myself the $10. Needless to say, they will no longer have my business, so I hope that ten bucks was worth it to them.
  2. No, it didn't include the water pump. Guess I got a deal? The last time I had my oil changed, I let them put on new wiper blades and they charged me 10 bucks for labor! <_<
  3. wow, your paint was real clean.... ( i know this is detailing forum stuff...) but what did you use to achieve YOUR shine?
  4. I paid about 350 for a timing belt/driving belt change, transmission fluid change, and I believe new coolant fluid. I had it service at a Toyota dealership. I don't have the receipt handy, but I do not think I spent more than 4 bills.
  5. I love Texas. One day the temperature is 36 degrees and then just two days later it will be 70.
  6. even if my car isn't freshly washed, i habitually turn around once or twice to look at it as i walk away
  7. wow! that is a lot of snow for Texas. And to think I was excited about super tiny snowflakes falling yesterday right as I made it back home to San Antonio. :D :D Merry Christmas to everyone!
  8. i wonder why everyone always complains about the cupholders. Mine seem to function efficiently. :)
  9. where were all the ladies at? (I had to work ;) )
  10. MAF and IAT? please elaborate for those who are challenged when it comes to automotive acronyms.
  11. hahahhahahahaha, I love the Tom's Shell gas sign... as for speeding tickets....i've only had one and it cost me $211, therefore I rarely go more than 10 mph over the limit
  12. I'm a 20 year old college student and I work at a local Italian restaurant (NOT olive garden) and a gourmet catering company.
  13. I'm keeping mine forever...it's not my first CAR, but it is my first luxury car, and symbolizes the first of many more to come. :D
  14. Well, it could be about a thousand things. Needs a tuneup Plugged fuel injectors Badly underinflated tires Low transmission fluid Transmission not shifting into top gear Bad O2 sensor Bad PCV valve And a zillion more. Are there any other symptoms that might help to narrow it down? ← well I had a fuel injection cleaning done about two weeks ago and they said that I did not need a tuneup (my original reason for taking it to the shop, independent, not Lexus). I rarely check my tire pressure. I have not checked my transmission fluid since I had it changed in October. Ummmm....I cannot really think of any symptoms that have seemed unusual or problematic. Other than my bad cv joints and a possible seep in my rear main seal.
