  1. I replaced the coolant temperature sensor two days ago.... but haven't notice any changes yet next i'll change the gear oil btw lander... there is no O2 sensor on gcc models
  2. Hi guys yes the car will accelerate on it's own whenever i turn on the ac done that already http://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls400/743825-a-c-fuel-consumption-ls400-95-a.html but i'll try to keep both posts updated
  3. no no warning lights!! the a/c and mileage issue are separated a/c thing been like forever but the mileage less than a year I read this before http://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls400/377171-diy-coolant-temperature-sensor-change-pics.html I'm going to replace it but i need to know if anything else could be the effect
  4. opps forgot the fuel economy I used to get about 14 - 16 L/100KM (16 - 14 mpg) estimated but now 20 - 25 L/100KM (11 - 9 mpg) PLZ HELP!!! it's 95 ls400
  5. Hi there, Whenever I turn on the A/C the rpm rise as the compressor start which is normal... but somehow it delivers the power to the wheels also in short: compressor click = race pedal automatically activated I hardly feel it when I pass 65 kph (40 mph) but under that it's really annoying.... especially here in Bahrain where is the longest drive without braking never exceed 15 minutes which is very rare I one let it go from 0 kph with the a/c on... once the compressor clicked I released the brake and it's almost reached 30 kph (18 mph) I'll try to upload a video ASAP any suggestion would be appreciated THX
  6. Its not common for the fuel pump to break down. I think There are dirts in the path, but to be safe change the spark plugs and use STB to clean the injectors (do not remove the injectors unless you are changing them) That's what would I do Also clean the air filter cuz the dust cuses the engine to use more power to get the air in which mean more fuel. I had similar issue but once I replaced the plugs and air filter cuz it was to old to clean, everything turned better. Hope I helped I've braking issue with my ls400 so I parked it far at my grandfather place till the parts arrive, tomorrow i'll go to clean it and check the fuel electronic system for you.
  7. Looks like its coming out from the compressor not sure though, which model is it?
  8. when was the last time you cleaned the injectors and air filter? This model plugs could last for ever but that depends on your driving. You can test the computer yourself if you have the tools or at a shop with a tester, the computer will tell you what's wrong in the system. Check this out http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/intro/codereading.html good thing there is no smell or smock cuz that may force you to change the computer.
  9. Check the plugs and the injectors with them wires. Also the air filter. If they are fine or you have them changed and cleaned recently then simply test the computer. BTW are there any smoke or noted carbon smell coming out?
  10. Not sure about the gas problem but for the starting and idle its probably the engine wiring, but first check the plugs and if some of the injectors are out of work. Hope I helped, If not reply and I'll ask the experts I know
