I'm always suspicious of my mechanic about oil changes. I know this is a dumb question but do you guys think it's not a big deal to go over by a couple thousand miles? I heard lexus and toyota engines are more likely to build up sludge in the engine.

I can't help you with the safety committees but I know this happened to me a couple years back with a chevy suburban. When I closed the door to the car the far back window literally blew out from the inside. I guess it has something to do with the pressure change. Was it a particularly windy or hot day out?

Definitely get a bigger sway bar if you can find one. New tires can always help. Otherwise I'd say buy better shocks next time.

Just happy to have found this lexus forum. My RX has been having some serious problems. Might have to do with the fact that I flipped it on its side in a ditch... We'll see.
