  1. My 2011 ES350 has the same problem. It's bright enough, but does not illuminate beyond the area immediately in front of you. I wonder why Lexus designed cars like this.
  2. I am sorry I just realized there are two Autos. The one to the left is the one you referred to. I was talking about the one on the right.
  3. I like the Auto AC mode because it monitors harmful emissions and switches to internal circulation when necessary. One question is, does the AC actually get turned on when the outside temperature is low, as in winter? I like to have the emission sensor on all the time, but thought it would be a waste of money if AC has to be on even it's not needed.
  4. Thanks, guys! I have tried to reset the trip meter each time I refuel. When I use up the tank, I compare the trip meter to the initial Range Approx. The meter always comes short by about 30 miles. I noticed the Range estimate goes down much faster in the last 100 miles, compared to the first 200 miles where it pretty much matches the trip meter, mile for mile.
  5. I noticed my remaining mileage counter starts to accelerate very quickly once I have about 100 miles left. Is it common for you folks too? Right now, if the display says I have 70 miles remaining, I can actually get 50 if I am lucky.
  6. Honda and TomTom handheld have this feature. This morning, I saw it appear on ES350 too, but only briefly. I don't know how it showed up and why it went away. I wish I could keep it there all the time. It's so useful. I captured a screenshot from the video tutorial. Here you can see its location. https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=ED6BF78961876C28!238&authkey=!AAOEsXRA-32NcpU
  7. Thanks, Paul. That's not what I was looking for. Here is a screenshot of a Honda Nav. On the top left corner, you can see an arrow pointing to the destination (in this case, it's straight ahead).
  8. One thing I don't like about my 2011 ES350 is that it does not have an arrow pointing to the final destination somewhere on the screen. The Compass mode is an overkill, IMHO. I find this feature very useful when I wanted to deviate from the route, say to buy a burger, but do not want to head in the opposite direction. This morning, miraculously, I saw a destination arrow showed up just below the distance and remaining time area. But it disappearred later. I wonder if there is a way to turn on this display?
  9. It's a shame for Lexus. WIth Nav, I haven't seen any other cars not being able to automatically adjust for the DST. The ES350 Nav actually has the menu option for DST. Why is that needed if they do nothing?
  10. mine didn't, even the DST menu was enabled, I am disappointed. All my other vehicles automatically adjusted clocks coming out of the daylight savings time..
  11. How is that possible with you guys? The best I have managed to get is 28.
  12. My ES350 is on I30 everyday. Maybe I am getting used to it.
