  1. I finally got my turbo kit installed in my '97 lexus SC300 today after a month, but now my check engine light comes on. The place that installed the kit said that it is because I don't have enough spark, and I need a ecu of some sort and maybe a ignition. They recommended that I get a Greddy E-Manage, and that would solve the problem because it would control fuel and spark. Is that true that it would solve my problems? Is that the unit that I should get? And if I get the Greddy E-Manage, will I still need to get a ignition upgrade? Also they quoted $1200 for unit (E-manage)/install/and tune, is that a fair price? If I need a ignition upgrade, what would be the best for my car considering price and so on? They recommended MSD DIS. Considering I don't think that I have digital spark, I don't think that would be the unit to get, maybe like a MSD 7T or something, any ideas?

  2. :chairshot: About a week ago, I let my friend drive my es300 late at night while I was sitting passenger because I was too tired. Long story short, we went around a curve at 60mph that was supposed to be taken at 45mph and we flew off the road and flipped :o the lexus :censored: ! The car is half of what it was needless to say and is totaled. I'm ok and so is he, thankgod. That's the bad news. Good news- I just got a 1997 silver lexus SC300, and put 19' konig theory's on it with a 1 inch eibach spring drop :D . Only has 71000 miles on it with black interior. It's fast, but not fast enough, so my girlfriend is buying me a f/max turbo kit for Christmas for $4,700, ha, ha, ha :whistles: . Overall, much better than the es300. I'm in love  ! --no more es forum posts, sc from here on out.

  3. Does anybody know what are the best lowering springs for my 1995 lexus ES300? I would like to lower it about 2 inches but no lower b/c i have 18' rims on my car. The most i found so far are B&G which drop the car 1.6 front and back. And would 2 inches be too much and would 1.6 be enough?
