does ne 1 know if the grill from an 00 - 01 will fit on my car, i wanna replace my grill, it got chipped by some road debris the other week. i attached a pic.
yea it fits.. kinda.. its a tight squeeze between the bumper, but it works.. ive had 2 on my 97 es300 (dont ask lol)

i ordered it in january the week i came back from india.. and here we are 3 months later and UPS drops it off. im so happy it finally came in!

20s will fit with the right offset and width. just because theyll fit doesnt mean they will look good though. 19s would be the biggest i would go if you have a kit of some sort, 18s the biggest if you dont.

19 x 8 (225/35YR19) will these fit with no probs?
if the offset is in between 40-45 you shouldnt have any problems. id go with a wider tire - 235/35/19 to keep the speedometer accurate

I'm currently driving the 2004 ES330 drives great but I would like more speed, HP, does any one knows of any superchip or upgrade I can do just to raise the speed a bit.

As you said, Lexus vehicles are so quiet to begin with & they use extensive sound deadening materials as it is........a product out of a bottle or jug will do nothing for this type of car, except drain our wallets. Don't even bother. B) 
have you removed every panel and all the carpeting? theres less sound deadening material than you think. but anyway, this stuff just looks like cheap dynamat to me :shrugs:

the plastic single din mounting kit i bought off ebay was modified to fit a double din, and then it cracked and broke under pressure of the weight of the double din... it was made out of cheap plastic, so i dont reccomend buying one.. the ddx7015 was pushed in and made to fit, my stock bracket was cut during one of my previous stereo botch jobs, so they did the best they could uder the circumstances.. then they made a wood plate and wrapped it in black vinyl to seal the empty space off and then put a custom plastic piece to close off the gaps between the wood and the radio.. looks really clean in person, pics dont really do it justice. i couldnt be more happy.

thats not what i meant. my philosophy is to do things right the first time. ive wasted too much money redoing things on my car, and i wouldnt want you to be in the same boat as i am, thats all. if you just want something thats flashy and looks good while saving you money at the same time, more power to you.

their was a recall 7 years ago for a possible loose bolt.
A steering wheel bolt it either on or it is off, so if the wheel doesn't come off in your hands it is not loose.
was there a recall for the same thing on the 97+?

its getting installed tomorrow, along with a viper 791xv alarm (my current alarm is fried), a clarion 200.1 amp and a jl 10w0 in a jl ported plexiglass box

know any places on the web that does custom dash faces??
you can get it rewrapped... but i dont think anyone online would do it.. a stereo shop would have to fabricate one.. which would be anywhere from $50-$100

i have a custom mounting plate from my single din that i could make into a double din or i could modify the plastic single din mounting kit to fit this
