Did you sign a "Bill Of Sale" that had the statement "as-is" in it when you purchased the car? If so then there is not much you can legally do about it.

Are you sure it doesn't do it when the car is shut off after running it?

One product that I have had great success with is a certain cleaner called "Castrol Super Clean - cleaner/degreaser" It comes in a big purple container the same shape as anti-freeze. Heck, even wal-mart carries it! This stuff is great, not only is it a great cleaner/degreaser, it is biodegradable! Plus it is only about 5 bucks!

I have really enjoyed using a wax called Simply Z Best. I picked up some at a factory demonstration years ago, and have not found anything I liked better since! Also, their tire shine works well. I am not sure of any stores you can find it in, but you can get it from their website. I am by no means related to this company, I am just a very satisfied customer!
