You hit the rev limiter. The engine was shutting down as it hit high RPM and then restarting as RPM dropped. That's what it's there for, to prevent damage from over revving.

There's a release catch on that plug. You shouldn't have to yank too hard. -

This should work. http://my.is/forums/f115/replacing-front-m...e-light-280906/ These bulbs had a problem with going out pretty often. The problem turned out to be fixed by replacing the whole unit.

You'll get snappier shifts with the ECT Pwr on. Also it will downshift sooner. -
The rear brake problem is leaky dust covers that allow the pins to corrode. They inspect and if the cover is leaking they replace the pin and the cover.

I would recommend the Goodyears, had them on a Firebird and drove in snow sometimes without problems. Right now I have Continental Extreme Contacts. I only have one experience on slick surface, freezing rain, but they did fine on that. The price is lower than the Goodyears. The Continentals suit me just fine on dry or wet roads as well.

All I know is they told me to run it low cause they were going to fill it up when they were done. I dunno from technical but they should have filled yours too.

What are you talking about? The above thread is the page to login or register your Lexus so you can look at the owners manual, no matter what year your car is. The pinned threads contain the PDF's from the owners manual as well. . :D You're referring to a post, not a thread. -

The front tires are also doing the steering plus it's expected you may carry items in your trunk so the rear tire need extra PSI for load carrying. -

It's simple enough to put a cheap voltage drop sensor alarm and use the BMW siren instead of the one that comes with it. Then, you gotta carry an extra remote but it might be worth it to you.

Very rarely would anyone get a loaner car for just an oil change. Even in the US it's mostly for jobs that take more than 4 hours or when the car has to be kept overnight. They just don't give out those loaners like jelly beans.

The Xenon bulbs require a starter and a ballast. Nowadays these are combined in the same little box that comes with the kit. It's kinda like the difference between a common light bulb and a florescent bulb. They require more juice to light up and a ballast to operate.
