I went to New Orleans yesterday in my 2002 es300 with the lux pkg and while driving using the laser assisted cruise, a warning tone sounded, the cruise shut off and a check light for the VSC and cruise not available came on.
I stopped at the next rest stop and checked to see if any debris was on the lense and found the skid plate passenger side had broken loose on one tab causing the plate to sag on the corner but not interfere with the laser lense.
The plate could not be corrected and the 200 mile journey was completed without cruise and the plate was continously exposed to construction and uneven roads causing the plate to continously drag the pavement all the way home.
I was never able to get the cruise to come back on nor get the vsc to go off.....
Help please.
