I am due to pick up my Gs 450h later this week and was interested in having the dealer install XM to the ML audio system. I have read mixed things about XM sound quality. I realize that it is compressed audio and not as good as CD but I was told that the sound stinks. I did hear XM in a LS 460 during a test drive and it sounded fine. What is your experience with Lexus installed XM radio. Also where is the XM antenna? Does it need to be installed too?

I am picking up a 450h at the end of next week so I don't have any experience with it in the snow. I have driven a LS 430 for four winters in Chicago. I was pleasantly surprised how well it handled in the snow. I suspect that the 450h, with extra weight over the rear axle and decent all season or snow tires, should perform similarly. I agree with the others above that the tires are key. Enjoy your 450h!

Has anyone installed the Lexus XM radio kit for the 2004 LS430? Are there instructions on how to do so? Or is this too complicated to be installed by the owner and must be dealer installed. Thanks for your information. jay
