  1. Picked up my 2013 GX 460 today. Since my prior 2009 GX 470 was nearly identical to my prior 2005 GX 470, it's nice to finally see some changes, new features and improvements! :D Particularly love the BT music connection.
  2. You can also dial the 1-touch numbers on the NAV screen while the vehicle is moving.
  3. I like it a lot. I had a moto mpx200 which was also a smartphone (no bluetooth). I really miss the size of that phone and the clam shell. The Treo is bigger and not as convenient to carry, but I've already gotten used to it. I prefer/need a phone that is also a PDA, and the Treo with the Palm OS I think is much better than the mpx in that regard. The Treo is very easy to use and navigate. The keyboard, although tiny, is really nice for entering info, particularly if you use the messaging, email and web functions. The moto may have had a little better sound quality, I haven't used the Treo enough to make that comparison yet. As for the wireless headset, I don't know yet. I'm waiting for a Plantronics headset that was ordered. I do know that the bluetooth in the GX works great!! :)
  4. Follow your blackberry instructions. When you are in your contacts (or whatever address book blackberry has), there should be a menu option somewhere to send the contact/library. When you send it should transfer.
  5. I don't know about the Tungsten, but I have a Palm Treo 650 that works just fine with the '05 GX470 and it is not on "the list". The palmone.com web site had a car kit update to download for the treo, not sure about the Tungsten. It's an excellent hands free system. :D One thing I would recommend if you are trying it is to follow palm's instructions exactly. If you have one thing incorrect it may not pair up.
  6. Thanks for the info, nice to hear directly from a user. :D I believe the XM is offered as an option in the LX, so why not the GX? I don't think I'm crazy about not being able to see the display, one of the things I like is being able to see what's on other stations before changing. BTW, I'm in Chicagoland too!
  7. Which dealer emailed you? The reason I asked is I'm from suburban Chicago as well and have a deposit in for an 05. They are expecting it end of Nov/early Dec. ?? ← Woodfield. Where is your deposit?
  8. I received an email from a local dealer (suburban Chicago) stating that they expect the 2005 models to come in January. (no other info).
  9. I am considering purchasing the GX470, but waiting for the '05 models to arrive. :whistles: I noticed that the '05 LX470 is to come with XM radio. Anyone have any idea if the GX470 will also come with XM? Assuming it doesn't, I have an XM Commander that I might want to install. However, I have seen people elsewhere on the internet say you can't install a satellite radio in Lexus because of the NAVI system. I don't know why that would be. Any suggestions, ideas, or anyone with satellite radio that they installed? Thanks,
