  1. Get a rag and dry/wipe everything off that you can. Then monitor it after you drive to see where fresh fluid is coming from. Read this: http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=60383
  2. good one landar, I thought about making some wise aker remark but laid off. I must be getting old
  3. The accumulator is located.... http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=57780&st=0&p=372303
  4. What stereo do you have? New? Maybe it's bad or the battery is bad. Before running a wire, I'd check with who you bought it from to see what they say.
  5. DUPLICATE THREAD ALERT..... Go here to post replies: http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=65426
  6. Did the new stereo come with an adapter or did you use a diagram to hook it all up? This thread has a complete diagram of all connectors that should give you an idea of what you need to connect to get uninterrupted power. http://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls400/396809-1996-lexus-ls400-stereo-install-wiring-info-diagrams.html
  7. This will give you an idea of what changed through the years: http://www.lexls.com/info/lsgenerations.html If you want to be absolutely sure stick with 90-92 parts, but 90-94 should do you fine.
  8. Read post 7 here: http://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls400/387474-trac-code-19-a.html a small piece of black tape could "resolve" it too ;)
  9. Nothing is wrong with the installation, it's the way it is. The gap (channel) is there to prevent rain and window washer fluid from going to the side windows.
  10. Hey, I'm sorry to hear you got shafted. I know that when ever I come here and see that you've posted something, the post will be insightful and to the point. No.... thank you!!
  11. My first thought is that the alternator isn't putting out enough voltage, you may want to put a meter on it to check it out. Another idea is to remove the negative lead on the battery for 10+ minutes to reset the ECU.
  12. Super! You stuck with it, good show. Pics, we need pics.
  13. Oh, sorry, I guess I didn't read your OP close enough.
  14. This thread is a good read: http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4237 Water hose washer can be used to fix the problem, watch the youtube video.
  15. The rest of the linked thread below is interesting, but post 35 explains what tools were used to remove the ACV. Good luck. http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=6583&st=34
  16. The sensor is located on the front passenger side brake assembly attached to the inner pad. http://www.toyodiy.c...EPGKA_4705.html
  17. Right, no way to disable that feature on the 95. It bugged me too when I first got my 95, learned to live with it though. If it doesn't go to the previous spot, push the appropriate memory button on the door before shifting into gear to coax the steering wheel to the right position. Mine does this too from time to time. I believe it has something to do with a sensor in the ignition switch.
  18. Post 7 of the thread I linked..... sensor unscrews.
  19. Replacing the fluid isn't goint to resolve the ACV leak. You'll still need to deal with that. If you do replace the fluid, be sure to pull the solenoid down on the rack and clean the filter. (many posts on this too)
  20. If it is leaking from the level sensor, then an O-ring will take care of it (as pointed out in the thread I linked).
  21. This thread should help: http://us.lexusowner...showtopic=53524
  22. http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...?showtopic=4237 have you tried using Search? http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...showtopic=57361
  23. More than what you asked for but this will give you an idea.... http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...showtopic=61372
  24. Since the OP hasn't posted on this forum since he posted here, I doubt he'll be back soon. The gmail address he lists is prolly the best way to get hold of him.
