Hey all, this is my first time posting on this forum. My problem today is that I was doing a U-Turn on a residential street, when my car started making a pretty loud "clanking" noise when I would crank the wheel all of the way to the left or right while moving. Immediately after the noise started, the diff lock light and the ABS lights came on on my dash. Where the switch would be in my car (to the left of the steering wheel), there is nothing but a hole going into the dash. Is it possible for the system to get confused with a mechanical problem and display that as the diff lock engaged? Any assistance or experiences with this would be greatly appreciated!
