  1. Mine had some rattle on the first year, as I drive a lot on gravel roads and Off-road. Some patch were put in it the rails but it began to rattle again. I tried to track this problems at Lexus and Toyota on this, but I did not find it. On the second year the moonroof it ratteled more and this time it was taken out fixed and put back in. No problem since then. Now I can drive on 60Mph on a gravel road and no rattle sound in the SUV, that handles super.....

It seems that this is rare problem and it has been the only problem.

  2. Anyone using a Thule ski rack on the existing crossbars?  I had an exisitning rack so I bought the Thule feet to attach to the factory x-bars and it fits great.  When hitting the freeway, however, I get a very annoying reverberation from the roof at 50+mph.  Has anyone played with the position of the bars to reduce this noise - or is anyone using the fairing?  Thanks!

Shape of some ski rack are like wing. You have put them on so the turn in right direction.

Thule should be ok. In Japan you can order Thule as an option at the Lexus/Toyota dealer..

  6. What about BF Goodrich ALL TERRAIN T/A KO ?

It is good for snow and ice. Should be easy to buy these american tires in the USA. ;D I have used it for 6 years It has been popular for SUV in Iceland. I bought new ones ALL TERRAIN T/A KO 265/70/17 2 years ago for my Toyota Land Cruiser 90/120 (Prado). It is very similar to the GX470. I use the orginal rims and you could get the GX470 size 265/65/17.
