Hello folks, Can anybody help me how to figure out how to reomove the key from the ignition, after turning off the car, i tried to pull the key out, it would not budge, i sprayed WD40 and also tried graphite, it has not helped, the key is stuck in the ignition :( ,.Any hepl would be aprreciated. :)

Hell fellow Lexus owners, On my 93 LS400, I do not have remote, so i have been using the key to unlock and lock the car, today the key would turn left to lock, but would not turn right to unlock, so i unlocked the car from the psgr side, later on when i tried to open the drivers door from the inside it would not open, the lock from inside does not want to move, does anybody have any ideas to fix this?. First i need to know to open the door, second how to open the panel, please psot links/pics if you have any. :( Thank You

Hi John, Power sreering makes whinning sounds, timining belts needs replacing, problems with the power anntenae and drivers seat on left side will not recline back up. thanks

There is a shaft that connects the gears on each side of the seat. The shaft slips one way or the other and comes off a spline, causing the offset. Take off the seatback panel: Remove Two screws on bottom and pull upwards to free clips at top of seatback; Move seat until aligned; Find connecting shaft and slide left or right to re-engage spline; once engaged, test; put plastic ty-wrap around spline, next to shaft end, so it can't slide off again;replace seatback. ← Any pictures of doing this procedure?

It sounds like the back/tilt shaft has slipped in the fitting; If one side goes up/down and the other side is fixed in same place, I know how to fix it. New covers are available on Ebay. ← Please tell me how to fix it

The other day I reclined the drivers Seat all the way down, when i brought it up, half way only the left side of the seat came up, the right side is half way down, I have to recline the seat down to even the seat, it make though to drve. When I recline the seat up I hear only the left side , maybe the motor on the right gave out. Does Anyone how to open the seat in the back, any pics or do i have to buy a new seat.HELP :( :

The other day my 1990 LS door lock would not work, so called AAA to open door, power doors lock would not work, put the key in the ignition and turned it, cluster came alive, but would not start, so i bought a new battery, still same problem, would not crank, talked to a mechanic and he said the alarm might be problem which disabled everything, need to reset or what. Need help :chairshot:
