Best looking Accord in years from what I can see.

No I worked with my local custom wheel/tire shop and they worked it out for me.

I just added one of the F-sport accessories to my IS350 (F-sport exhaust).

The ES exterior styling has improved IMO too. Starting to see a few around here.

Glad to hear of the favorable outcome, not unexpected given 1K miles out of warranty.

Note: stock intake, which is how I will leave it.

Had the F-sport exhaust installed Saturday, sounds excellent through most of rev range (especially mid to high revs), not excessively loud. Since I use this car for weekends mostly, it's a perfect exhaust system for my taste. Loud enough to be satisfying, but quiet when driven conservatively. Pros: Semi-exotic sound, nice finish, good fit, pretty quiet in cruising mode (at steady speeds). Cons: A little bit of droning at 80mph+ speeds.

Some story, and not applicable.

Why (curious)? The top tier brands have same detergent levels in both regular and premium grades of gasoline. Regardless I think premium gas is recommended for both IS250 and IS350 engines.

Not really a hack intake :) Even though the intake is sucking in warmer air, but the amount of air being sucked is a LOT more than stock because the pipe is smooth instead of ribbed (which restricts air flow) as well if you compare an aftermarket pipe and stock rubber pipe there is a part that comes out on the side which restricts airflow even more Therefore the power gain overpowers the power loss, which is a net gain Especially good for winter with a clean filter since air is so cold Yes, sounds like so-so engineering to me, especially considering the resources of these aftermarket hacks is nowhere near the resources available to engineers at Toy/Lex for example. Don't need a high volume hot air intake.

I did enjoy a pretty extensive test drive in a used IS350 with F-Sport exhaust at my dealership. I need to remind my SA to quote the OTD price (w/discount).

20 cents uplift for premium usuually around here.

Isn't the standard intake a cold air intake?

I think the F-sported-up IS250/350's look cleaner and sleeker than IS-F styling. No tacked on front fender/vents, aftermarket-looking bulging hood and modified bumpers for extra overhang, stacked-non-functional tailpipes.

Initial quality, agreed.

I drove a F-sport exhaust-equipped IS350 at my dealership last Monday. Nice snarl without being too loud. I've asked my SA to quote a good price, let's see what he comes up with.

I like the look, subtle upgrades.
