i also tried disconnecting the battery and that did not work either

well i tried the CD cleaner disc and that did not work, the disc is not spinning or being read and the ERR 1 code is still coming up, any other advice ?

Good day guys/gals, I just bought a 2000 ls400 and tried putting in some cd's but keep on getting the "ERR 1" code. I read some things on here and i see it may be some security problem. Does anybody know what i can do about this, i appreciate any advice. Thank you.
