Maybe the new hub with bearing has a defective bearing in it....That would require replacement and the use of a press to accomodate this.

Go on Flea bay and search for hatch shocks and you will find a business that sells them cheap....He includes instructions, but beware the door is heavy so use a ladder with appropriate spacers to hold the door open while changing...

If the car was cold, the ice will run until warmed up....Other than that maybe it needs a reset on the ice...search this site and you will find the procedure....The Ice should definetly shut down when coasting....easy enough to see on the display under INFO selection....Good luck with your search.

Glad to hear about your results....Your very fortunate. -
The 150k warranty only applied to the 2006 I believe in California, my 2008 doesnt have the 150k mileage warranty....As for AWD many have said it is not up to what you think in snow. It will help in Rain with slippery roads...Mine is AWD and always feels secure, but We dont have snow where I live other than in the mountains....

00 Rx300 Ignition Coils, Replace All Or Just The Bad One?
lenore replied to sigtauenus's topic in 99 - 03 Lexus RX300
I would be very careful to observe whether there is corrosion on the plug top or the coil pack is corroded where it plugs onto the top of the plug...I put dielectric grease on mine to keep moisture out and stop moisture....Moisture can cause premature failures....do to arcing. Also always used iridium NGK or Denso plugs (OEM) never, and I say never put in Bosch... -
An Oldie, But Still Put A Smile On My Face When I Read It - Humor

Quite frankly I unlike you, I looked at the list and didnt dwell on any particuler cliche, as for M-B well I am totally against that behavior, but quite frankly when first read, didnt have any idea of its meaning. I chose to enjoy the Fix it again tony etc. Oh my is that a racial slur against my Italian wife....? Your observation that I accepted something because it was in a list of cliches is rediculous...I just was trying to get across that this was a long list of cliches that I found many were funny. I concur if the forum is against any racial tones both enlightening or self inflected that we will not tolerate them. I just thought this was a open forum for sharing amusement as well as knowledge. Since I am both German, Irish, and have Italian in my family I feel this thread should be removed.... -

Well he is moving toward that thinking, he was actually talking a RAV4, and this is from a hard line GM guy for 23 years that is All he has driven....RAV4 for wife and Ford truck for him....I will believe it when I see it, other wise He drives Government Motors....The big bail out company...But I see a Chevrolet in his future....We know our friends well, all talk and fun, but when the tire hits the road, it is somewhere else... -

Paul, This is not a male society, it is made of both Man and Woman, However the Men are becoming feminized or chasticed for saying or doing things that were shared amongst men. Lighten up, all of your statements above are rediculous and are not what I implied. Funny I can go to a movie and Djangle Unchained, watch the N word declared about 100 times and Hollywood created this, and nobody says anything about the storey in this movie (by the way, way too gruesome for me) These are historical events, but you want them banned from our language.A rap artist and can say garbage all day long and it is considered art, but goodness, anybody else is not allowed. The cliches are all things that poked fun at different autos, I read them and found them so true, and Hey how many times have I said Found on the road dead and that I would never have one, but am a proud owner of a Ford F 150. Life is full of amusement, enjoy it and quit worrying about the fly crap in the pepper barrel...The cliches are just that, a part of our historical amusements. Just like pimp mobiles are recognized by everybody for what they are...Hey it created a show on tv (PIMP my Ride). We all make fun of ourselves and in the right context makes us laugh..We can not rewrite history, but look back and learn from it and never ban it from our society....Otherwise we are doomed to repeat. By the way I found my referenced movie above one that I would not recommend viewing, way to slanted and very grotesque.....Laugh Paul, take all of the cliches and recognize that they are part of our past, and as human nature we will always poke fun at cars that our friends have, unless we own one too....My friends always remind me on my Found on road dead statement when I drive my Ford, At least I am not driving a government motors vehicle....(my friend does and he is actually thinking of breaking free from GM and going to Ford)) -
The Ford products would be my only enabler. Government motors leaves me a sour taste.....The Old Lincolns used to be quite a ride.

Oh man get over it, Cant we enjoy the old cliches.... we have become a bunch of women in our male society.....(no offense to the better half) -
did you guys check the flex coupling on the exhaust between the engine and the rear catalytic converter? When it fails there is a vibration created that resonates with the vehicle from the exhaust leak.
-
could be the brake actuator...mine does the same, I am going to have my system flushed at the toyota dealership....mine only does it while the brake pedal is pressed...if this is when you hear the noise than it may be the same. Otherwise I would suspect something like a cooling pump. May be the inverter cooling pump....it is electric...mine failed last year...
-
nice great price...enjoy...
-
shame on them, that is no way of developing a good customer for the long term...run, no gallop away and enjoy your car.
-
I would move the seat all the way forward and make sure nothing is obstructing the rails...maybe something is hitting or stuck in the rails....

Does your check engine light come on when you turn the ignition switch to the on position..? I hope the bulb is not burned out....Loosing overdrive as you have researched could be knock sensors, however they usually put a code out and check engine light. The dreaded transmission failure is another reason...Maybe you have a hidden code. worth trying a read on the car and see what you have.

Hey they may have done a bad job...that happens. Should be covered under warranty.....Are you getting a check engine light? You may have something else going bad. -
The key is if it has the VVTi engine, which the RX300 did that year than it is an interference engine. I would highly suggest getting the belt changed.

Road Noise 2008 Rx350
lenore replied to Gary Vodvarka's topic in 04 - 09 Lexus RX330 / RX350 / RX400h
You might have a wheel bearing going bad....Ask someone else to drive and sit in different positions and listen for the noise to see if you can localize it. Mine turned out being a front left wheel bearing, but many have had the rear wheel bearings go out. I too tried new tires, noise still there, replaced bearing and it is quiet. -
Cel Problems. Help Me Avoid A Ticket Please!
lenore replied to JayL408's topic in 92 - 06 Lexus ES250/300/330
Did you put a Bosch sensor in? If so they sometimes dont work on this engine....Hopefully you got a Denso sensor....There is a heater circuit in them, and if that is open, then you could have problems. I kind of remember the heater is wired in series between the front and rear sensors....If one is open you will have code. the sensor on Amazon is about $100 Denso 234-9009 Oxygen Sensor -
Headlamp Assembly Replacement Options
lenore replied to atn1972's topic in 04 - 09 Lexus RX330 / RX350 / RX400h
From what I understand, the top edge of the lamp assemblies is leaking when subjected to water....I agree venting would be appropriate, but leakage is a whole other problem....
