  1. Certainly sounds like clockspring. You can take to dealer for diagnosis.(they only charged me $30 at toyota dealer. Ordered part online and put in myself. Only took 45 min.
  2. Do a search of this issue on this forum. There is a member with a source for replacement screens
  3. There is a prob in your vapor recovery system. I had same issue on my 02 Sienna. In my case and according to my research the most common cause is the VSV valve on the charcoal canister is bad. I replaced mine as a unit (valve and canister). Dealer can diagnose pretty easily.
