91 LS 400 150k miles. Just started having an issue with my speedometer, when i leave for work in the morning the needle on my speedometer will not move. After about 7 or 8 miles going down the road around 70mph the needle will gradually start to move up towards 70, after about another 4 miles the needle seems to work fine after that. The rest of the day things are fine. While i was going 70 i did turn the cruise control on and it worked fine. But the speedometer still stayed on 0. Any ideas on where to look?

It started on a 4 hour trip to pittsburgh, once i arrived to my destination i was parking the car and it died. It started back up but was running rough. I had the AC on, so once i turned it off the car ran perfect. Now 2 months later( i've kept the a/c off all of the time), I turn the a/c on and the car idles a little rougher and I can hear some type of noise from the engine. The a/c will blow Cold air. Any thoughts? Does this sound like a compressor only issue? 1991 LS400

Just FYI in case anybody else has a problem like this. They said it was the alternator and a weak battery. $740 I had the alternator and battery tested at Advance Auto, guess I won't trust them to much anymore.......

Now all the warning lights are on, and if I have the fan on medium and i let off the gas, the fan will blow just a little bit, less than low..... Went to advance auto, they tested the alternator and battery both were fine.... Any more ideas on where to look?

I checked it out and the brake fluid was full, on the way home the radio went completely silent again for about 15 seconds on all the channels. Maybe something electrical?

1991 LS 400 130K miles Both the TracOFF and antilock lights came on today, I was driving for about thirty miles then the lights appeared, when I slowed down below 30 mph or so the lights went away, then I went faster they came back on. When I got to my destination and parked they would not come back on. One other odd thing that happened is that I was listening to the radio when this first happened and the volume went to nothing, i tried other channels and still nothing, then after 20 seconds the volume started coming back. This is the first time that the radio has acted this way.... Any ideas? Thanks for any help.

I have a 91 LS400, I do not have a temp gauge that tells me the outside temp. Does anybody know of an aftermarket product that I could use?

There are no leaks at all. I know when I did the oil change I gave them the oil and gave them 5qt of Mobil 1... So do you think 1/2 quart would cause this problem? But I'll add the 1/2 quart and see what happens... Thanks for the suggestions.

I have a 91 LS 400... The oil light started coming on when i go around 76 - 80mph, the oil light will stay on till I drop to 70-74. It has not come on below that yet. And this problem just started, i did get another oil change, that didn't help. does anyone have any ideas what I should look at or change? Thanks for any suggestions
